I also heard that Oxbow Cavy performance is recommended for piggies that are 6mths & below... Maybe u can try accompany her more, to let her not be afraid of u, & see how then... I think she's feeling very scared that's y she's making lots of noise... GP are timid by nature.. A plastic bottom cage cost abt $30-$50 in those petshops...

emma<< So far she din pee or poo outside anymore , think she recognise the BC as toilet . I choose not 2 spread all the floor wit BC .... worried she might think the whole area is 1 BIG TOILET lor . i oslo placed a rug on the other half of the cage as play area wit toys . She din pee/poo there anymore . Wat ur male piggy doing is abt the same as rabbits leh . Like whenever a female ard , they will pee/poo all over the plcae or beside the female's cage lor . Nice 2 know u might b able 2 adopt her i will try my best 2 keep her . Do u 've space cages ? or will she b housed wit the others ? just wondering , me dun know much abt whether piggy can b housed in pair or groups or young n mature together .

Piggies are recommended to have companion, so they can be house with other piggies... It's also easier when u intro them companion when they are young...

i have 2 cages...one big one has 3 piggies, one smaller one has 1 piggy. 3 gals & 1 boi...hee....They are social animals & prefer to stay in groups or pairs... Hee...my Mama Pig stayed alone for sometime after her mate died. Then i house her with my other piggies for a while & then i shift her back to her old place again...she did'nt want to stay there....& she came out several times to bite the grills of the other piggy's cage cos i tik she wants to stay with them....so in the end, i put her back & she is happy...hee Yeah..it will be good if u can keep her ...one piggy is very easy to maintain..moreover u are keeping a gal, their poo are smaller than males...so cage won't be dirty so quickly I'm sure u'll be charmed by her after a while & grow to love the funny noise she makes...cute hor....wuwuwuw....gugugug...purrrrr...drrrr....wheek wheek....tweet tweet...hahaha funny leh.

it's true that they love company of their own kind..so it will be really good if u can get her a friend. Best to get one soon cos when they are older, it's more difficult to intro new friend to them...then they will be bored their whole lives....i've kept a single piggy before...then his behaviour really changed after he got a friend...become more active & friendly & not so timid & scared So hopefully u can get her a companion soon

If i do keep her ..... she will b the oni 1 lor . In the lst place , if i dun take her .... dun know wat my bro-in-law going 2 do wit her ?? i was hopeing if i cannot spare the time ... at least some piggy lover here or other forum could adopt her rather than leaving it with him if he alre 've no intention 2 keep her ..... haiz ... :cry2: My neighbour actually went 2 release their 20++ hammsters into Ponggol Park !!!! last yr .... think all kena eaten up by th cats ard there liao .

The kids dun really play wit the pets now n i know she will b rather lonely .... haiz ..... mayb she's bette off wit someone wit a piggies .
