Chloe's upgraded cage. It's really big. It stands at a height of 1.4m and breadth and length are 32 inches each. I feel I myself can fit inside the cage. This is the wall opposite the door. I can't stack anymore cages on top of the chins' cages cos it's right next to the window. As you all can see, there have been some changes. I have actually tried to fill almost every wall in my room, I really dun think I have anymore space for shelves or drawers.

How abt putting some hammies cages on top Chloe's cage ?? Will it work Is the window the oni place 2 put the chin's cages . If can lean against the wall then mayb u can stack both their cages on toip of another . Will stuff them 2 death anot huh?? just wondering coz' din 've chin , no idea appropriate anot?? Btw 've pic of the wall facing Chloe's cage anot?? the 1 with 2 shelves . U could try replacing the whole wall with broader shelvings from waist up till the head . Stretching from 1 end 2 another . If can't , me olso dunno how liao . Me myself going 2 drill some shelving in kids rm 4 their hammster n fighting fish soon . Dun take up any floor space . Anything away from the floor will definitely make rm less cramp lor.....

puppy> My mum was shocked at Chloe's cage, but after I assured her it won't be placed in the living room, then she keep quiet. Cos she's very particular abt her living room. I cannot fill the place with cages of animals. She'll get upset. Kekeke, ya, hang from ceiling is a last resort.
geraldo> I'd prefer not to place cages on top of her cage, cos it's not secure to me. Chloe might try to push them down and she might succeed. She used to overturn one of my small animal carrier when I placed it on her cage.
I cannot stack the chin cages on top of one another. They weigh the same, and are very heavy. The brand is Superpet I'm using, and the structure is not firm enough to withstand another cage's weight. I'm not gonna take the risk, cos if it crushes the cage below, I'm gonna lose a pair of chins.
Oh, I didn't get a clear pic of the wall opposite Chloe's cage. Argh. That wall is covered with gerbil tanks and hamster cages. It's actually almost exactly the same as the shelves next to Chloe. I filled the place with a stack of shelves a few months back. It's full. Plus, at the bottom there, is Bunbun's cage/litterbox. I think if I post up the new pics of Bunbun, you'll be able to see that wall.

Wow! My own mum would have freaked if i converted a room into a mini zoo for my pets. Your room reminds me of my fren who has 30+ chins. She started with only 2 pairs (4 chins). She gives them a room with 24hr air-con and lots of privacy, that's why they can breed! As for me, finding space for 1 dog (at my place) and 2 GPs (at my bf's place) is hard enough!!

Oh i see... no she's not in any pets' forum... But i must say that she doesnt really interact with her chins, coz she has soooo many. But she must b doing something right, since they breed so much! her latest chin baby is a golden mosiac... still too young to tell at the moment, but its all white with a golden thinge.

puppy> Ya, my mum saw my room, but then, I didn't break any rules with her, abt my own room, so never mind. Hahaha. Somemore, my bf's mum gave me a vacuum cleaner when she found out my old one spoilt. She won the extra one in a lucky draw, and her own vacuum cleaner is very very good, so she dun need the small one she won. So now, I vacuum the place often, become even cleaner! Now much lesser dust around the place. Ya lor, become all the pets' slave. My bf also. Everyday must work to keep the place clean and make sure everyone has what they need. But then, also very happy when we see the pets ma, hahaha, they alwiz make us laugh. geraldo>I cage Chloe up for a very good reason, I live on the 10th floor. My windows are full-length in the living room, and she can fly out the window if I let her run abt freely. In fact, whenever she is out for floortime, I must keep an eye on her. Can't let her run abt without supervision. She also jumps on the window sill and walks there, like a tight rope. It's extremely dangerous. I almost died of fear the first time I saw her do it. From then on, I never let her run loose without me or my bf watching, and we alwiz keep her away from the windows. So when I go out, got no choice but to put her in her cage. Then when I'm home, she can come out.
