yeeee...... ;D alien dogs!!!!! ;D ;D ;D i like dogs with extremely short hair..super huge dogs.. huskies,alaskan malamut..well...unfortunately we stay in tropical country..will be cruel to have them here.. besides i stay in HDB flat leh.. i wish i had a dog  |

actually no i read a report that acutally husky may do well in a hot climate beter bcos soemthing like their fur adjus to the weather lor so its like hot right even better bcos like not cold so no need to grow more coat lor..

U sure u dun mind cleaning their poo!!  rabbit's poo still OK! but dog's ........ if kena diarrhoea hor ........ cham leh ! me ex doggy kena b4 !! It's like wash ........... Butt Butt !!....... geraldo > hmm... ya lor ya lor... u reminded me that time i kept a LH chow chow for a week. aiyo!!!! cannot tahan. even though SUPER cute and adorable and guai. the sh1t and pee is really unbearable. SO MUCH. but he's really very adorable. huggable too. but my room hor, really stink ah. until i also cannot tahan. but i enjoy seeing the way he sleeps. me and my sis always sit there to watch him sleep. VERY funny 1... kind of miss him leh... |

i LOVE big dogs....bigger the better..so i guess the sh*t goin to b VERY big also??haha animosity,tt time i went to pet safari with my x bf to make noise at sam yick hor..saw a pair of huskies there....REALLY beautiful. i wanted to jus stand there forever n look..i wish so much they were mine leh |

Umm, I'm afraid I disagree that huskies do better in a hot climate lor. Cos I see my bf's husky, she can take the heat, but there is no doubt she loves the cold much better. Her fur is very soft and thick, I seriously doubt she is malnutritioned. Hmmm, I dunno whose husky to recommend you all to see la. Cos when I visit the husky club last time, I did see huskies that were not well taken care of. I strongly believe my bf's one was one of the better cared for ones. Cos I touched the fur of other huskies. There were many who had coarse dry fur, and I was actually surprised cos I originally thought all huskies had soft fur like hers. But it's not the case. The size of the dog poo varies from individual dog to dog. Actually, my own corgi's poo is the same size as my bf's husky, which is weird cos she's like half the size of the husky. But then, I know that their diet makes a large difference. Tiara, my bf's husky, is on a barf diet, which is actually one of the best diets possible. My own dog is now on kibble, rice and ham, plus Nupro supplement. I agree that space is an important consideration for big dogs. It's really much better to keep them in landed property. But food and water, I dun find it differs much from medium sized dogs. In fact, Tiara eats the same amt of food as my dog, sometimes less. She doesn't need such a big amt, cos she's on barf. My bf's family gives her alot, she doesn't even finish her food half the time. I know cos I've seen my bf's mum quite frustrated that she prepared the food, and the dog doesn't want to eat. Not to mention that barf tastes tons better than kibble. Tiara is also of a good weight and not thin. Cos we check with her vet yearly, and the lady was very pleased with her size. As for grooming and bathing, I agree it takes more effort. Especially if the dog doesn't like to bathe.  |
