ya... jamura is not a recognised breed. so is angora lop, angora dwarf, lionhead lop,... must wait until other countries got rabbit competition on these breeds lor. then maybe they'll recognise it.

hey...dun mistake wat i say....i dun mean not "branded" then the bunny not worth liking.. all bunnies are cute in their own way. As long as u love the bunny,it doesn't matter wat kinda breed. What i really can't stand however is tt SOME pet shops will anyhow cross breed rabbits then in attempt to jack up the price(ie higher profit for them) will jus anyhow give the bunny a "breed"..make it seem as if its worth paying thru ur nose for the bunny. I dun like pet shops tt deal tt way(n sadly..many of them are...which explains the emergence of funny brreeds like "panda" etc)... nothing against the bunnies..am against the people who r trying to cheat people money. sheesh...u know i am getting real disillusioned with the pet shops here in singapore..

i mean...im ok with them mixing breeds..BUT b honest about it loh. if it is a angora lop then say it is an agora lop.....dun give it some fancy name n charge sky high for them. at pets kiock serangoon north..i find tt they r very honest with people...like they will say tt a dwarf angora won't b as small as a purebred dwarf etc.....also they tend to charge lower for the mixed breeds compared to the purebreds.. not sure wat u think but tts my personal opinion.. me not worked up over wat u said...jus tt last week jus went Pet Safari to quarrel with them(actually my x bf did most of the shouting..i jus look pretty there) and i realised the SAM Yick shop there the rabbits they sell are not quality ones but selling at exorbitant prices!! i was so mad when they came up with all sorta funny nonsense to justify the sky high prices...eg..the NDs they were selling...i told them they shouldnt b charging 200 plus for a bunny tt OBVIOUSLY wasnt a purebred ND..having sharp face n dutch colours. they can say stupid things like " oh, locally bred NDS look different from imported ones.. cant b the same standard" my x bf shoot bACK" oh so u r saying tt if an ang moh couple come to singapore n give birth, their kids will become indian issit?" THEN they say"the face will b quite sharp when they r young.when they reach about 8 months plus, the face will become rounder" i was like" YA RIGHT! get ur facts right b4 u come speak to me" and everytime people get bunnies from them...diseased rabbits tt die within 2 weeks of reaching home..they will DEFINITELY tell u its due to stress. CRAP

aiyo... talk about pet safari ah... me hor, can break anything just hearing this name... i dun like (or rather i HATE) this shop completely. dun understand why still so many ppl support them. mixing breed is fine but hor, like what bubbles said hor, shouldnt anyhow give names. i think hor, maybe they try to breed angora and lop but hor, the bunnies didnt turn on angora lop and fur not very long. that's why they come out with a name JUMURA. i always ask those who intend to get bunnies NOT to get from petshops, esp pet safari and sam yick. really dun see why want pay the $$ for that quality of bunnies which u can get half its price from breeders / other petshops. that time hor, i got puppy from there leh. regret man! let them earn the $$. but on the other hand, heng i buy him. if not, dunno puppy must suffer how long.

I totally agree that Pet Safari and Sam Yick overcharge customers and dun sell high quality stock. Umm, but just to say that Pet Safari's small animal corner is also by Sam Yick. So in the end, the one we're buying from is really Sam Yick.
