Clover, actually you can joined 2 x 2ft cage. It work out to be the same as 3 ft cage. Only the height slightly different lor. A 2 ft cage is about $25. So times 2 is only $50.

Actually I did consider joining 2 cages. But I dunno how to do it perfectly. I'm been trying to figure it out. My bf keeps insisting it can be done, and I replied, "How? Tell me how? Explain to me!" lol Then he showed me, but the wire frames wld overlap. I dun want that. I want it joined properly but must remove the side grills like that, and he doesn't have the tools for that. ~>.<~

But mine is a lop n she rather tall if she stand on her hind feet so i decided against it lor. Ur bf's right...can b dismantled but quite shiong hor cos i dismantled all the grills 4 the spare cage n use it as playpen instead !!!! so many...... If oni 1 side of it....not tt bad leh. Need a plier n a cutter ! Dun worry....wont overlap 1......just tie them ( edges of cage!) with a thicker plastic tie ....black/white oso 've........

Ya, you can join either the shorter side or the longer side. Up to you and won't overlap.
I have a adopter who joined 2 2ft cages together. They joined the shorter size, so it becomes 4 ft x 1 half ft. Longish design. Looks quite nice too. But if you join the longer size, it will make up 3ft x 2ft lor.
Can just use plier to pull open the metal clips. Not too diffecult la

I try to describe how to do to my bf. See if he can do. He has been pushing me to join the 2 cages together instead, so as to save money. lol
