Read on this article.... *deleted*
What could have caused them to die overnight? Predator attack? Snake attack? or..... the 7th month?
Hi guys,
Sorry I have to take down the article and deleted some of the postings here for reason that the writer has not obtained a permission from the school to publish this news.
The article from the original website has also been taken down for the same reason.
For those who have read it, juz kept this to yourself for the time being......

What?! All xx of em died in 2 days? The way i see it,it could be wild animals(snakes,or some other rat-eating animals) that kills them....but wild animals only hunt for food when they are hungry....then again, the mysterious part is why would they want to kill the bunnies & not eats them up?

If it's a snake.....after makan liao....will lay low 4 days or wks. Not likely 2 go ard n bite the remainin bunnies lor. And it's alws swollow as a whole rather dan jus chewin off the legs...
Might b a pack of cats....cos likely 2 jump over the fence. As bunny 're large animals as compare 2 rats...mayb the cat oni manage 2 chew off a feet or 2...? Those in the burrow...the 1 near the entrance got chewed cos the cat able 2 reach it....u ppl think so?
If it's a dog or a pack....there won't b much of a carcass left liao....

Pack of cats.....at ponggol park 've. A group of abt 3/4 of them at least.
These cats actu eat raw fish from ppl fishin there lor. Meanin they used 2 meat rather dan dry feed. N the family dowstair...throw their 20/30 hamsters over at the park last yr man! terrible!
Accordin 2 wat i saw on animal planet...most cats, not all will play wit their live food (rats!) a bite here n there...n not eating it whole. In England...there's a notorious cat tt actu went ard huntin rats n wild rabbits n even neig's pet bunny! Not eatin but simply killin it 4 fun...........all in all.....over 1000 small animals killed liao. The owner actu kept some in her fridge!!!!! ( some missin a leg or 2..)
A bunny's ear n leg would b easier 4 a cat 2 chew or latch on rather dan the tummy. But 4 dogs....mostly likely 2 attack the tummy instead .
can't think of any other predator liao....

Aiyo my god. I didn't get to read it!!
Well, I agree that cats don't actually eat their prey, as in eat the whole body. I haven't let any of my cats eat my pets of course, but playing with Chloe and Amber, can tell their character a little. For Chloe, it's all fun to her. Even playing with the plastic mouse, she doesn't eat it. She just wants to catch it.
Amber is different. He scared me before. While playing with the plastic mouse, he suddenly caught it in his mouth with a sharp movement and turned and ran off with the whole thing! It's a fishing rod toy, so he dragged the toy out of my hand and ran off. I was really shocked cos it never happened before, but it reminds me that he's a cat.
He's never paid much attention to my small pets, but a few mths ago, I caught him staring intently at my chins. He crouched for hours watching them. I chased him off a few times, then locked him up in his cage cos it was freaking me out, the staring. Chloe never did that. She wld just stick her paw in when she thinks I'm not looking, but she won't stay near the cage for a long time. She wld rather run off to play.
Gosh, it's an awful thing to happen to any small animal.

sOO it's wild dogs tt did it!..........'ve they known b4 tt there's wild dogs?!
Was askin tt cos their hutch is not properly make in the lst place! As much as they love the animals.....they shld not 've a open top enclosure at all. Even e fences 're low enough 4 cats n dog 2 jump over it!
Hate 2 say this but the sch is partly responsible 4 the loss of those bunnies! tt's how i see it lor. Shld check up on them......in case they decided 2 keep bunnies again! AND!.......wild animals do rem their last ' feasting place!'.....................
I dun agree 2 sch keepin animals 4 educational purposes but those i saw so far....... do provide a properly fenced enclosure abt the size n height of 1 or 2 HDB rm.

To be truthful, i dun blame the dogs. i blame pple. it is only natural instinct for dogs to attack and bite rabbits esp since these are wild dogs to begin with.
Humans could have been more careful and they could have done something when 13 rabbits disappeared/died and they could have saved the remaining 3. I mean, looking at the conditions of the rabbits, they dun look well kept at all.
just imagine how u will feel if u had to see ur own family died in front of ur own eyes then shiver in fear knowing the same will happen to u when the dogs come back and there is nothing u can do but to accept ur fate. so angry.
a sidenote, alot of muslims already dun like dogs. I know they cannot touch dogs because of their religion but I know for one that the Islamic faith does not encourage their followers to HATE dogs. THey are encouraged to actually love all living things. ;D In fact, not just muslims, this incident will make a lot of people think that there is truth in their beliefs that all dogs are savage and dangerous esp big dogs and mongrels.
These tragedies are human caused. dun blame the animals.
