this is one of the common illnesses in bunnies. if a rabbit appears unable to eat, first look at its mouth to see if the incisor teeth are overgrown, giving rise to the condition known as dental malocclusion or 'buck teeth'. have to bring to vet for teeth clipping. try not to do it urself unless u know how to. 'cause u might accidentally cut the root. within a few weeks, the rabbit will need to clip his teeth again. if left untreated, the cheek teeth will also be affected in due course. there is no cure for this problem other than life-long control and maintenance of the abnormal tooth growth. there's a lot of info about this... www.hrss.net/aar/health/health_dental.htmlwww.rabbit.org/journal/2-6/tusks.htmlthis URL is from other countries... so some info might not be relevant... but the graphical representation is very educational... www.lbah.com/Rabbits/malocclusion.htm
