Wah so despicable! Ask their good friends to help them advertise and giving false impressions of the shop in forums. If Petstuffz boss is reading this, you are very XIA(4) LIU(2)! hi highheels, in fact, even if the owner is logging in as any nicknames, no one would know, unless those who are closer to the owner and knows who is it. Alas, there are alot and whenever we tell people about it, they choose not to believe that we are telling the truth. I personally thinks that this is not the right way to get customers to the shop, aka by faking to be the customer OR asking frens to advertise. It's a despicable mean of doing business.

The colour on the skin is just the pigment. Usually dark colour rabbit has patches of black pigment on skin. Did you see the x-ray yourself? Was it a severe dislocation? So many stitches. Look like quite a major op. I really pity otahz. Make sure he eat his food. If he didn't eat for 24 hrs, you have to force feed him. I can't advice you much on the legal issue. But I certainly think that this pet shop owe you a duty of care. Of course you can take legal action against them. But again this will take time and money. Maybe you can check around if there are any free legal advice. Or check with AVA regarding this matter as they are the one who issues pet shop licensing. I wish that you could bring back some justice for otahz. www.ava.gov.sg/JAVASCRIPT/m5-option1.htmlOr you could try Consumer Association www.case.org.sg/cgi-bin/e-site/cgi-bin/type_list.pl?1013241264

Ghost Town Members Be Aware >> I've done a little check up on this Petshop, the info given to me is that some of the Pets Forum's Admins & Mods are good friends to the 3 owners of this Petshop....so they are always recommending this Petshop to members of their forums....buying from this Petshop is ok....but not grooming there as they also have previous bad records on grooming Dogs & Bunnies & it's only a matter of time they will be sued....members here, pls do take note of this. Thanks!! Alicia and Angeline respectively... dun think there is a 3rd owner. Actually, I have heard good things about the shop too, but it is mainly for their products and accessories, and not services. I have yet to come across any pet shop that will assume liability for such mistakes. and most of the time customers do not take action so these pet shops (if at fault) get away scot free. But I do agree, that if one were to send their pet for grooming, they should be allowed to view their pet as the grooming takes place. Only inexperienced groomers would wanna groom the pet behind the curtain. All this talk about the pets getting stressed out whilst the owner is watching... tat's bull sh*t. I have come across some pet shops that even ask the help of owners to hold their pets whilst grooming takes place, ot even be around to calm their pets down.

Hai what to do. Some people say will write in to ST for me. im clueless. Juz wished they had handled the situation better, cuz straight away i went into the shop, ask to see the groomer. They took so long to come out, bet muz be having some discussion inside. Then 3 all talk to me, how to outtalk them? i only want an explanation lor, but they tink i trying to ask for compensation, make me feel that they try to shirk ALL responsibility. And the groomer ar .. "Cannot be cannot be" Another girl " the groomer is trained" groomer "i handled so many bunnies" meaning no accidents? no flaws? no slipups? Only the green hair girl better attitude. Aye i should not have brought O'tahz there. Really sorry now. Next time i will do the grooming myself. "rabbit will struggle when owner there" will not trust my rabbit in another stranger's hands liao. aye Puppy, bubbles>> learnt my lesson now. My poor otahz. I did the best i could for him. Tho i thought i always had the best for him. Cuz i had the misconception grooming = pampering? was even thinking of it to be a twice a mth thing. now never again. didnt noe he could be so stressed.

hmmm... actually, the shop is owned by 2 gals... Alicia and Angeline respectively... dun think there is a 3rd owner. There is a another sleeping partner..a Guy..& the bosses are some Pets Forum's Administrators or Moderators as well & have many good friends who are Administrators or Moderators in Local Pets Forums who willl help spread "good" words of this Petshop around. It's very easy to find them,go to a Pets Forum that sings praises of this Petshop & you will know who are they....they are so far,yet so close.... be extremely careful! feel like writing in to the ST. anyway the mop people have received some official letter on their side of the story. Jus wondering how come they never directly explain to me clearly, wait til matters blow up liao then send letter. aye i will never go back there again. i thought can be trusted cuz i went there few times. they say grooming cannot see, tell me go eat. so i went lor. come out otahz.... hai... i also never check properly. Jellybean : What do you mean mop receive some official letter on their side of the story? From who & to who? & how come since you are the victim of this case & how come they have to go through third party get news? Don't you find it suspicious?Well,i do..... Be careful where you are in... Base on what ghost tell me,Otah is a really super tamed bunny & isn't jumpy at all point of time,& in order to make this kind of bunny dislocate his hind leg, they must have been a "really expert" in bunny grooming.. Lastly,i hope Otah will get well soon & be back to his normal self(a happy bunny) again,& also hope the owner will not make the same mistakes(listening to wrong advices)again.I'll also be keeping otah in my prayer list too, till he gets fully well.

Things are very fishy and very despicable lor. If I were u, i will make sure I blow the matter big. It's not like we expect a compensation but an explanation(like what u said) and a duty of care(like what cottontail mentioned). I know it may be easy for them to shirk responsibilities but still, I will go up to them with some ultra big and loud mouth friends. If still cannot, i think it's possible to bring the matter up to CASE.
I ever brought a matter(not pets related) up to CASE and they immediately typed a letter at my presence and sent it to the company I was lodging a complain. After a week, I received a letter of apology from the company and they offered to submit to my request. So i think... we can try. That is, if u really want to get back what should belong to u.

leoric > grooming rabbits is very different from grooming dogs. even if the most tamest rabbit is put on the grooming table, not used to grooming 1, they'll struggle.
i've tried that on puppy, who's also very tamed. imagine i'm around when my groomer friend is doing it. yet puppy still will struggle once a while. they dun feel the security. but when i do it myself on him, he just stay still.
only the owner knows the bunny's temperament.
