thanks sanz33! i will be going to take a look later and bear those points in mind... hi wan2bet sorry to hear abt your bad experience with the pet safari. nevertheless, i'm glad to hear u decide to adopt instead of buying. if u decide to adopt, u are actually saving two buns as the free space will be ready for another bun we rescued. you can find alot more rabbit info at this link: www.hrss.net and can view hrss's adoptables here: www.hrss.net/adopt/adpt_rabbits.htmlto the contrary, it's actually the local buns that are more hardy than the imported ones. whether it's local or imported buns, it doesn't matter cos they are cute in their own unique way.

i see i see... i think i can understand why already. The pet shop animals are just not that healthy and not tame... yes, i am confident of it... and had posted at your thread already... oh yes i have 1 question... i got this from my nearby house pet shop and that is that when a rabbit changes environment, we need to give them those type of diarehha aid in their Water to prevent an onset of diarehha which will lead to death. is this true?? Yes,i always encourage pple in this forum & my friends to adopt & not go & pay $ for the animals....& this forum got many nice cute small animals for adoption too.....notice if a member do not intro himself/herself....& if he/she try to adopt or rehome an animal in this forum,a notice will be given to the thread....within 24hours,if still no intro...the thread will either be taken down or locked....don't ask me why,i've too many reasons for doing that liao.... Sure,i'll be rehoming 2 of the bunnies later in the evening, the adults one....so when i see the owner of the bunnies,i'll ask her to reserve 1 for u.....still i wish to remind u that the Curse is really serious....& i'm not joking....so if are confident, then it's fine....I'll provide some of the bunny's pellets & hay to u too....hope u can take good care of the bunny.....

ok sure ... any ques i will just ask here.. You all have been a great help... thanks! Hmm, so how do i report this to case or ava? i am not too sure if the bunny is underage but can tell that they are very skinny lor... hmm, as for the receipts yes i have it in my drawer.. so do i like write a letter to them or call them up?? if u stil hav the receipt then perhaps u can make a report to CASE or to AVA.saying that the bunnies are underage.if that is the case(the bunnies they sell are underage),when u see them sellin those bunnies, make a report to AVA immediately. local bunnies are not more prone to diseases.i think its THEIR bunnies that are more prone to diseases. adopting is good cos u can b sure the bunnies are healthier than those u can get at any pet shop

i have 1 question... i got this from my nearby house pet shop and that is that when a rabbit changes environment, we need to give them those type of diarehha aid in their Water to prevent an onset of diarehha which will lead to death. is this true?? It is not necessary to give diarrhea aid. Don't think this diarrhea aid help in controlling diarrhea. All you need is to give them a quite and peaceful environment. Provide them with proper pellet, hay and water and that should be enough. If possible, obtain the same type of pellets the previous owner is feeding. Bunnies are able to readapt to new environment in just a few days. As for the feedback/complaint to AVA, you can write a letter/email to them stating the entire incident with details of when and where you bought the rabbit. The condition of the rabbit showcase and the type of bedding being used at the pet shop. What was the agreement between you and the pet shop abt the replacement if the pet died. And what the pet shop ppl told u abt other customers also having the same problem, as in the pet died after they bought home. www.ava.gov.sg/javascript/m5-option1.html

I think the experts here have help answers your question liao(cos me not a bunnies person myself la).... One point to take note regarding, "obtain the same type of pellets the previous owner is feeding",is that i'll be providing the same food that the previous owner is feeding to you as well, plus their regular characteristic.....jus like i've provide the new owner of those bunnies their pet food for the 1st time.So jus follow the menu will do....
