hi u know the texel that i just show the pics...well now her nail are veri long so i want to cut but her nail was not transparency like my shelti.....it is black and i scared i cut to much and bleed........ advise ;D

think u might have read in other forums, can use torch light to shine on the nails.

Yes, that's right. Use torchlight or hold their nails up to the sun to see. This may not always work, but you might be able to see the quick if the black is not too dark.

So dun be surprise.

if u intend to try trimming their nails urself, maybe try to get the stop bleed powder 1st... so if really kena the vein, got blood, can use this powder to stop the bleeding.

just put a bit on the bleeding nail, exert some pressure on it. after a while, the bleeding stop liao.

the one i got is cardinal brand. professional groomer's styptic powder (stop-bleeding) for dogs and cats. 14 gms about $13-$15. cant rem price 'cause i throw away the box liao. 14 gms can last VERY VERY long unless u always kena the GP's veins. hope not though.
