My GPs are abt 2mths old. I'm feeding them Oxbow Cavy Performance along with Bunny brand hay. I think it's similar to orchard grass. 1 of them has whitish pee n it looks quite viscous (thick) also. I read that it means too much calcium, but aren't I following instructions by feeding them Cavy Performance until they are 6mths old? And my other GP is fine... How? what to do?

It's true that white or milky pee indicates too much calcium. How much pellets do you feed your pigs? Yes, cavy performance is the correct feed to give them when they are young. But pls bear in mind, too much calcium can result in bladder stones, as wheekwheek from CG experienced.
I see that only 1 of your pigs is affected. Hmm, I'm not sure what measures can be taken except to decrease the calcium intake for that 1 pig.
Have you posted your concerns with CG? They might be able to offer some advice. (PS. No offense ghost, just that if it's an urgent case like his pig is ill or something, I suggest asking CG, or just go to the vet.)

I give them unlimited pellets. According to wheekwheek fm CG, he mentioned that it is ok for now... but once they are 6mths old, stop giving Cavy Performance?
I'm not sure what to do.... surprised that the other cavy is ok though. Do I have to bring the other to the vet?

Cavy Performance is for Growing Babies and preggy females. Cavy Cuisine is for 'normal' adult pigs. Diff nutritional values...

I'm happy to report that the whitish pee has cleared already.... Instead of feeding them 2 scoops of Browns Traditional with 2 scoops of Oxbow Cavy Performance, i cut down to 1 scoop of Cavy Performance.
