I just found a bird with both wings badly wounded yesterday. How do you treat wounded wings?? THey are badly scraped, maybe from a fight. I have no idea how to treat a bird.
The bird might die any time and we do not wish to bring it to the vet as it costs.
Please help!

last time my granny caught 1 also got injured wings. she just bought mealworms for the bird to it. try to clean the wound abit. then leave it alone. i dunno how serious is ur case. but if it's v painful, when u try to touch / clean the wound, it might attack. be careful.

well, you may wish to get the product "oxyjuv" from www.pets-mania.com which may be diluted and misted onto the wound. The solution helps to introduce oxygen onto the wound, hence allowing it to heal faster. May also consider getting "systemajuv" which may be fed orally with a syringe which will boosts immune system, making way for a speedy recovery. ;D
