My precious black bear which I adopted and gave birth 4 batches of pups for me, passed away last nite at 10.15pm. In the morning, she still happily jumped here and there. But when I knocked off from work and saw her, she just restless lying at one corner, no energy, wif 4 pups staying by her side. At that time, I knew she cant make it already, no signs of illness, no bleeding, dun know what is the cause?? I think the pups knew she is leaving soon, keep licking, hugged and accompany her till her last breathe. I just keep crying till now.

I am sorry abt ur loss. Mr Ghost will have a common story to share with u abt his pups' love for moma ham when she was dying too.
Anyway, moma ham could be over exhausted. My hamster has just passed away without any signs too. She was running on the wheel and the next few hours, she was half dead with no injuries. We suspected that she got a heat stroke or was choked to death. Her neck area was wet.

Yogies, i am so touched to know that u are keeping the babies, and will not give them away, though u haven't had much space left.
I am sure that the mommy ham will be very thankful to u. U are a great owner.
