I have taken this long to post this cos i think i needed time to really come to terms with this. 
Pinky was my first ND,a present from my then bf. She was always SOoO sweet,snuggling up to me when she's let out for her free runs while her companion Bubbles run around like mad bunny. She would lick my fingers relentlessly n look at me with eyes so endearing.She would dig around in my hair as if she wanna find something inside.SHe will be the first to run to the cage door when i approach n look at me as if to say "Mummy....are u going to kiss me today?"
Then suddenly she got diahorrea,brought her to the vet but instead of improving after that,she just stopped eating n drinking completely. Tried force feeding her but didnt work cos she kept throwing everything up. felt so helpless,put her back n was lookin at her the whole night.. wanted to hold her but bf said i should jus leave her to b for a while..then she started breathing heavily in the middle of the night. i carried her out of the cage n after stroking her for a while,she passed away in my arms on 21st of April.
My poor baby didn't even manage to reach her first birthday.
