I had just bought a Alfafa Hay for my bunnies few days ago...Guess what i found it there?!! I found two huge dried look-like crikets in the hay....the first time, i saw that in my bunnies food tray and i thought that an insect flew in and was being stomped to death by my bunnies ;D...but i found another bigger clook-like criket in the bunnies cage again just now!!! I am not going to feed them the Alfafa again...will discard away the whole packet later ;D

not many brands have alfalfa hay. i would rather get something else that can also give my bunnies nutrition.
why dun u try giving rolled oats instead?

If you are feeding your young bunny (below 6 mths) with unlimited Alfafa based pellet, you need not necessary give alfafa hay. They can get enought of protein from the pellets. Try Timothy, Oat hay and Orchard grass.
Ya, like what puppy say, you can supplement by giving rolled oats but not too much hor. Rolled oats can be fattening due to its high carbohydrate.
