hahaha...well,hares are essentially wild, many people think hares n rabbits are the same BUT are quite different In appearance, hares are a lot bigger n they have longer legs, can run faster.prob cos better for them to survive in the wild. They are also slightly more difficult to tame, can give very bad kicks Also,if i'm not wrong, hares have 47 chromosomes n rabbits have 46.(or other way round?) and thus they can't breed together, will not produce any babies. something like that la

lolz My bf asked me this question also, I also can't answer him. He had seen a documentary on hares and rabbits in England. He said the hares look very handsome and asked if we cld get one. I said no. I only know that hares are difficult to tame, as bubbles said. But dunno anything else abt them.

puppy<< 1 pic with a jack rabbit , the ear SUper Long ! ;D looks like Dumbo leh . If talking abt Belgian hare hor , despite its name ..... the belgian hare isn't really a hare but is actually a domestic rabbit . But it's long legs n ears give it the appearence of a hare , hence it's name . Ppl oversea r keeping them as pet leh ..... here think 've 2 import . But it's a large-size rabbit of abt 9 pounds ( 2.7-4.3 kg ) . It can stand really tall n definitely need a very tall cage . But this breed veri super active n due 2 that mayb a bit difficute 2 train . But locally , din hear much abt this breed leh ..... think the size n temperement not veri appealing lor . I did ask ard at some petshop when starting 2 keep rabbit , oni response is ( siao izit ! no 1 here 1 2 keep this type of bunny ! ) Actually find them veri rabbit-like n handsome . Not oni they 've powerful back kick ! they can really Boxz ! with their front paw as well !

ya lor... some hares really look like hare but some dun look like hare at all. so cute 1. esp the snowrabbit.
the demand for belgian hare is low 'cause of space constraint. moreover many wont find them cute and adorable...
