the hay ppl buy from daniel is anderson hay. from what i know, it's fed to all the horses in s'pore. i'm also feeding my buns anderson hay. they have been rather fussy with hay and to my surprise, they love this hay very much. maybe 'cause it's soft and leafy.

i bought the brandless hay from pet kiosk before. I believe it's repacked APD. My piggies love it very much...but quite expensive cos they finish 2 packs in a week..imagine spending $16 per week on hay....i still prefer feeding them Oxbow Orchard grass

if u think poo is small then feed more hay n decrease pellets see if any difference. bunnies are browsers..meaning they eat grasses.in the wild, they dun eat jus timothy hay alone, they eat many different types of grasses. so u should give them variety..and give them a fresh supply of hay every few hours.we dun like stale food too,do we? and besides bunnies tend to poo n pee oon their hay(if they can) and they will lose interest in it for a while. different types of grasses give different types of hay. and there are different brands, harvested differently n freshness varies. so when u buy hay, sometimes its trial n error, see if ur bunny likes it. they all ahve their own taste. and even if they seem to like it now, they might get sick of it after a while.

Puppy, I didn't listen to the auntie's crapz. That's why i didn't buy Browns and refuses to listen to her. But there seems to be only a few types of timothy hay in the shop. The brandless one looks freshest to me. So I got that.
Bf told me that Starry likes the brandless(U all said APD) hay alot. So just now tried to mix back Oxbow and he took it well too. Likes both I guess.
Ask u all huh... do rabbits eat normal grasses outside? Cos bf told me that when he found Starry roaming at Bishan, Starry was actually eating those grasses....!

high heels > a lot of petshop ppl will bluff inexperienced owners to buy their stuff. teach wrong things. just be careful of them.
buns do eat grass. but not good 'cause maybe got pesticide / insecticide... u dunno wat's on the grass. eat liao, sekali kena infected internally then not good liao.

Where to buy APD oat hay? I normally buy my APD 2nd cut hay from Precious Pets Online. But have been using Anderson hay now, from Daniel.

Hmmm... hay can miz any kind together rite? pellets can or not ar? if i mix adult burgess and those with juniors one can ? i tink i will order orchard grass from petscreations for otahz. see his poo got become big or not. But alot le..really alot. like each time come out 5-6, then walk another step 5-6, then by the time i put him back inside his cage hor, the floor got 100++ small poos.

Jellybean, why do u want to mix junior with adult burgess? Erm... I think in my opinion... can mix initially. This is my opinion. Cos cannot suddenly change food right? Then slowly get him adapted to the adult burgess.
Anyway, my Starry also poo alot. Walk a few step, poo here and there. Always have to sweep the floor. Sometimes too lazy to sweep, so I hand feed Starry with his poo and he ate it back. Then he poo out MORE!

yes rabbits poo a lot its normal. as fr mixing,YES,u can. but what is the point in doin that since i dun see any complementary properties in using burgess adult n junior,if u tell me u mix APD timmy n burgess junior then makes more sense cos APD high in fibre. but that in itself also no point cos the bunny picks what it wans to eat n usu will leave bhind the other pellets that it doesnt like ie it encourages selective feeding, precisely why experienced owners NEVER use mixes and always gve plain pellets(to discourage selective feeding)

orh bubbles, now i understand. cuz initially i was tinking junior high in protein, and since its the same brand, maybe can mix with the adult one so not so high in protein, then not too easily grow fat mah. then in this case i'll only mix the hay and give him adult burgess liaos lor. oh ya one more thing, anyone heard of the "Xiao Mai Cao", u noe i tink is the wheat grass thats selling in pet shops, marukan one i tink, u tink its okay for bitbits to eat? cuz the package says to prevent hair balls. anyone tried it yet??? muz grow urself one..
