i was thinking seriously hard abt this... "how do our bunnies recognize us??" izzit by our voice or smell or what? there are many times when i reach and i was talking in the living room and Dusty will run out of nowhere to greet me!! is it coincidental?? or does he know that i am home and thats why come and find me?!? then how he know whether it is me or someone else touching him?? haha.. sorry so many qns... overly stress by exams and mind is wandering off to think of such things! though i seriously wanna know! any ideas anyone?

Same thing here. My bunnies will run to me when I reach home & called their names (Bibies, where are you ??), they will just run out from no where and gathered around me to beg for food or something. I have a grandson called Momo (he is having flu for quite sometime, fed him medicine everyday but till now still sneezing on & off...therefore, I pampered him a lot). Whenever I sit on the floor, he will run to me, lay down and hide in between my laps 'cause he knows that I will 'sayang'ing him, cleaning his nose and comb his fur...so cute. I think they will recognize the voice and the smell too....

i also think they recognise the voice and the way u call their names... my buns also like that. if i call them from somewhere they cant see me, they'll look around, try to find where i am.

I agree that bunnies can recognise voices and sounds. Cos she'll recognise me calling her name. And my bunny also recognises the rattle of the yogurt bottle. Then she'll come running from her hiding place.

charmie > ya lor... keep talking to them, calling them,... they'll soon recognise ur voice. that's what i did to all my pets. even my hamsters. so who says only dogs and cats are smart? they are so wrong to think that way. clover > shake yoghurt bottle sure will come 1 'cause it means got sweets to eat mah. hahaha... my granny usu use that method if she cant find my buns after calling them a few times.
