I buy several kinds of bedding, for my different pets. But I've never tried BC for my chins, and dun really want to. My main reason is cos chins have small thin, delicate limbs and feet, and my chins like to sleep in their bedding sometimes. So to me, using Pets Preference, the soft kind, is a better bed for them. BC is pelleted and hard, a bit uncomfortable for them to sleep on.

from my experiences, the best shavings is still TEXT TEXT". Can absord well (urine) and not so dusty. Currently I am using "Living World" for my Chins. But problem is not many pet shops carry this brand, hence whenever i "discover" any pet shops that are selling "Living World", I will buy all their stock. Ever bought 9 packs ( 56 l ) within one go!!! call me the typical "kia-su" singaporean!!!!

Can I ask the chin won't mess up the whole area if using wood-shaving mah??? My hammies will throw all over the place wan lor ;D tats one of the reason I switch to BC. I agree that shaving is soft and most pets love it.

hi petslover,
sometimes chins also do mess up the place with the shavings or kaycobs.
May i know who have use the Aspen before? I thought of buying aspen to let him try but if i'm not wrong there are two type of aspen, one is black in colour and the other type of colour is like wood shaving. So i'm wondering which type is better.

I'm wondering which type of bedding is the best for chinchillas. Currently i'm using Kaytee Kaycob but sometimes they tend to eat that which is not good for their digestion and is not really a good absorbent too.
