Hey everyone, I'm new to ghost town, so hopefully I am doing this all right. I have a chin named Flaco. I got him in January. He was doing absolutely phenomenal until I had to move. I had to move to a couple of different places over the last couple of months, but am now settled into a home. In the meantime, Flaco hasn't been adjusting too well to the whole experience. I was just wondering if anybody had any tips as to how to help my Flaco adjust to his new play area, and feel comfortable around us. So far, he has been really skittish around everyone, and I just want my old Flaco back.

Welcome to Ghost Town,me aren't an expert with Chins, but i guess your company and assurance towards your pets will help him or her settle faster to your new home..works for most pets.

I suggest giving him time to adjust to all the changes. Since you've moved several times, what he really needs is time and your patience in allowing him to adapt to the final most recent move. After he has fully settled down and is feeling less fearful, then you can start taming him again. Try not to rush it. I have a standard grey girl who needed 1 yr to get used to me. But now, she doesn't mind being carried by me.

with TLC you've given, Flaco will definitely back to normal. I'm sure Flaco should be doing fine now
