Tap water got different type too,the normal type is from reservoir....which is often classified as having too much Chlorine....that's why it's no good for our pets, another is from the roof top which are mainly rain water with little chlorine....those are still fine for pets.Tis type of water are mainly for families who stays on higher floors of a HDB flats.Lower floor type are using reservoir water.....guess they didn't tell u that, huh? hehehe....cos me staying on top floor of a HDB flat ma...... Pets village sells things quite expensive too....the good thing abt it is they usually carry the Complete range of hamsters accessories....& pets stuffs.

Ghost>the water for high n low floors got difference meh? sounds like an old wives tale to me Pets Village is quite famous leh.cos their livestock move very fast and they seem very knowledgable, friendly n approachable. But i heard before that some of their ideas very funny one loh. Eg..this bunny expert from another forum once went there to take a look at their rabbits n she asked to see one.. they took it out n she tranced the rabbit..the salesperson immediately shouted at her n told her not to do that cos it would give the bunny a "concussion" and when they bunny expert didnt agree, they insist it was a vet advice but couldnt name this vet all bunny people would kno trancing is totally harmless altho u gotta b careful that it doesnt jump off n hurt itself la.but impression they gave was once u trance the bunny=concussion ;D have to agree tho that the conditions there are not too bad,but its rather costly too..

about the concussion hor, i asked dr ling about it. she said that if carry bun normally (ie. head and butt same level), then ok. if head lower, butt higher, or head not supported, then concussion is possible. and if bun drop down, then chances of concussion higher lor. but carry normally, such things most probably wont happen 1. if i didnt remember wrongly, that's what she said. at 1st, when i ask her "trancing buns can cause concussion?" she was like, "izzit? not that i know of." then she start to explain further.

I like going to that shops too cos they sell many animals!
But there was once when they stated a few dwarves as ND. After seeing Bubblez's pearl, I think their ND wasn't pure bred one leh... They r bigger in size... much bigger in size actually... like a grown up Holland Lop size, with smaller ears when compared to local bunnies. They were selling those self proclaimed ND at $400! Some were reserved liaoz!
Not bad lahz... that time went over to ask abt a hamster play pen, then the salesgirl think and think then smiled to me and said dun have... quite friendly and pretty. Not bad lor. Hehehe...

I also agree that their stuff sometimes tend to be more expensive when compared to Serangoon North. But i always try to walk pass there to see their hamsters if i at suntec. Very cute and the cages and tanks are very clean

I got Biscuits and Wally from Pets Village too! Yeap, I agree that it really carries alot of stuff for hammies! I like going there and goggle at the hammies on display. And no funny smell there too. Too bad it's kind of far for me to go there fr my hse so dun go there so freqly. Last time bought BC from there then found a shop at BB Central which now closed down!!!! Argh... now got to lug BC from town again....

I like the things in this pet shop, plus the service (but I actually dun think they really know that much). But I dislike their high prices. I almost bought rabbits from them before. My bf dragged me out of the shop several times, and I admit he's quite right. They are way overpriced. But they house their animals well, which is a good thing.

Yes, they only have 1 shop. But they also opened an online shop for you to order from the internet. I check their catalogue occasionally, but still, prices are very high.
