ya....that's what i think too....& also i found out something,m'sia livestaocks are more expensive then in s'pore....but then again, still got pple buy....especially hamsters & bunnies.....realise also that SPCA there don't have much authority too..... And if anyone think animals abandonment is bad in S'pore...M'sia is a bit worse off.....that's what my friends in m'sia told me.....

actually i think the malaysian livestocks aren't more expensive than Singapore. it is perhaps we need the correct connections to know where to buy our pets from... A lot of pple go to Malaysia to shop cos' things there are relatively inexpensive, and of cos' due to the high exchange rate. Hence, for certain specialty shops, prices tend to be tagged higher than normal. Especially if the shops' decor and presentation is done well, it might give the buyer a perception that the shop is of a higher standard as compared to the other shops in the country. All a part of marketing strategy practice through time

I still think that m'sia is selling more expensive livestock lei....maybe it's becos of the Expo....rental must have play a important part.....but at Expo, the condition of the animals already isn't very good liao....i think the local petshops will be worse off.....

its all about marketing strategy.. they know that pple will be coming to KL for expo, sure to shop around wan... so, if they price it too cheaply, they wun make much profit. as for the living conditions, i guess most of you who have been there can see for yourself. JB has a few pet shops too... and they're not better off either...

Ya...must say that the condition of the pets in shopping centre type of petshops are much better....been to Pets Wonderland too....they really knows how to market their pets & merchandise, condition for pets also not as bad as local pets shops in m'sia....the only thing is,they don't allow phototaking in their shops lei,hehehe....
