Thanks Puppy and Robohams.
$3.50 seems like a good deal, compared to getting from antiseptic from petshops.
I think I will get one to keep just in case my pets need it. Btw, can it be used on ALL animals?
I oso suspect he scratched himself too much cos I kept touching him lately and he kept grooming after that.

SMALL 1. $3. mt pleasant hospital allows u to buy them from their counter. i dunno about other vets.

highheels > i just found out that u can actu get a BIG bottle of the blue solution (actual name: chlorhexidine) from pharmacy. only $5. should be $3.50. u can also get from vets. small bottle for $3. i dun think there's a diff (in terms of concentration,...) though. but i think if u seldom use it, no need to get BIG bottle. dunno if pharmacy got sell small bottles of that solution. topical antibiotic powder and blue solution: I wonder how much wld the solution & the powder cost?I'm intending to get it....

the powder is about $5. the solution (if get from vet) is about $3. if u want a BIGGER bottle of the solution, go pharmacy buy. BIG bottle only $3.50. but do check if hamsters can use the powder. worried that they might lick the powder.

Teddy's scent gland bled again!
Asked Dr Ling and confirmed that it's scent gland. Was told that it wasn't a big problem. Just apply antiseptic can liaoz. So i got a bottle of blue solution from her. $2 for a small bottle.

Sure hope tt Teddy will get well soon! I also use the antiseptic powder on my hamster if it's an open wound (like if got bleeding).

I didn't use the antiseptic powder cos dunno if it's suitable for hamsters. Didn't ask Dr Ling. I just anyhow say I wan the antiseptic solution then she gave me lor. HAHHAHAHAH!!!
Btw, I didn't bring Teddy down to let Dr Ling see. I brought Maomao down and conveniently showed her Maomao's scent gland. She confirmed that it's a scent gland and mentioned that he should have another 2 more at his sides.
