I'm afraid I don't have very many pics of my chins. I'm only posting 2. Keke. I actually got another pic of my silver white male chin, Spider, kissing me. He sit on my shoulder and kiss my cheek and my bf happened to catch that pic. Haha, but I'm not posting that pic cos I'm in it! Anyway, here are my chins. Sorry for the lousy pics, I'm not very gd at taking pics. This is Slappy. She's my very first chinchilla. A standard grey female, now 4 yrs old. She can be aggressive with pp she dunno, but otherwise is a nice girl. She loves to explore and play, much more than the others. This is Snowball, one of my silver white males (I've got 2). He's the younger and more active one. He's got a very friendly nature and likes humans. You can see him sleeping here, in his fav. ceramic cube! Keke, I think he's real cute.

Wahaha, ya, most of them r a bit fat. But not as fat as I like. Hehe. Yeah, chins have different sleeping postures. My black velvet female, Hanako, sleeps inside her ceramic mushroom. No space to lie down, so she sleeps sitting up. That's really funny I tell you. Another chin I used to have liked to sleep by leaning his nose against the cage corner. That's why he has a perpetual line on his nose. So funny. Haha.

Keke, I try and post more of them, if I manage to take more. On Sunday, I just managed to place Snowball and Hanako in the same cage. Previously, Hanako wld attack Snowball alwiz. But on Sunday, she just chase him a while then left him alone. Wahaha, and she's in heat! Cos later I see again, Snowball is chasing Hanako around and trying to mount her. He also wag his tail, telling her he wants to mate with her. Haha, she hide in her mushroom dun wan to come out. I'll try and post pics of her if I can, but she's more nervous than my other chins, so a bit difficult. The chin I had who had the nose line, he was Totoro, my TOV sapphire. He was so beautiful, very big and friendly. But he passed away from bacterial infection. I never create a grave for him cos I got no digital pics of him. He was one of my best chins. Chins are expensive ya, but try and get from home breeders, then it's cheaper I guess. But there are some unethical pp out thr who inbreed chins. I found out abt 1 mth ago from a fren. These pp so evil! Somemore, chins are more susceptible to defects if u inbreed them, compared to other pets. They are weaker. Keke, I actually love this 1 chin in Pet Kingdom called Phantom. He's now abt 5 yrs old, I've wanted him ever since I first saw him 4 yrs ago. No one has bought him since, I think. Cos I asked abt him early this yr, the staff told me he's still there. One of their long time residents. He costs more than $3k. Pet Kingdom refuses to lower the price. I even tried to negotiate with the staff, who asked his boss, I tell them I'm willing to pay $2k. They turned me down (considering that he's been there so long!). Haiz. I pestered my bf for ages, but he absolutely refused to even discuss it. He said he pay $3k, can buy me 6 chins from home breeders. Once I mention Phantom, his face goes blank, and he change subject. Argh! I admit he's really expensive, but he's so pretty! Oh ya, just to tell you all. Phantom is a mosaic male with a single black patch over one eye on his face, like phantom of the opera like that. Such chins are not very common, cos mosaics normally have their black patch on other parts of their body. Like on the back (which is actually quite common. I know of 3).

me never touch a chinchilla b4 leh... wonder how it feels like 'cause their fur looks very fluffy and soft. do they need any grooming, like my 2 nuts? ya... chinchillas are very exp. esp those that look very cute and cartoon-like... that day i went to pet kingdom hor, the ones i like all very exp, close to $500 1... sigh... these pet shops really know how to put their price tag... actually for any pets, it's better to get from home breeders... can get cheaper and even better quality 'cause they only need to cover back their food cost, no rental, ...
