This is Rubber Band. A stray cat I have been looking after. Feed her every day and bring her home every night. In the morning she will go jalan jalan on her own. She is a lap cat and really begs for companionship. Such cutie, wonder why no one takes her in yet.

Can see the scar around her mouth... Wonder who did that to such a sweet cat.

Geraldo> Although I wish to keep rubber band, I can't cos I already am committed to 3 rabbits and they are not being caged. Ash> They all know it is a stray. Before I kinna lookout for her, she was already in the estate for about 1 year. Used to be super fat and I took notice of her for everyday she will stare at my lift as if waiting for someone. She is super well behaved. Then I notice she start to get skinnier and skinnier. One day I kana lock out from the house, so I meow at her. She came immediately and rub against my legs. After playing with her for a while, she rolled over and asked me to rub her tummy. She even jumped on my laps and just slept. That's when I started feeding her. The collar was a Christmas present. She is a famous cat in the estate. Very intelligent. Responded to different name by different people. I call her rubberband because of the rubber band like white band marking. From far, it looks like someone tie a rubberband around her nose. At about 9pm at night, I will shout her name and she will run to me and meow. Very very sweet lap cat. After feeding, she will sleep on the cushion and wait for me till next morning and readily greet me with a few meows. Love her dearly.

Rubber band is so sweet. I really wonder if the marking on the nostril is caused by rubber band or string that was tie on it before. I saw a stray dog at Pasir Ris park, also got such a string mark on the muzzle. Some stray cats are real sweet and affectionate. I also have 2 tabby strays that come to my 3rd flr unit every day. 2 of them don't get along. So one of them comes in the day time to have her meal and sleep at my corridor. The other tom cat will come in the nite to have his supper. So they won't clash. So smart of them. Last week, I just brought a mother cat and her 2 kittens to board at a farm to tie over this monsoon season. The 2 kittens were thrown outside the open field after someone discovered them inside a mini store room at the void deck. The mum and kittens got no where to go and hide inside the not so well covered bushes. They will get wet if it rain. The kits were merely 3 weeks old only. sg.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/cottontail_mx/my_photosTibbar, is rubber band sterilised? I am now also taking a step at a time to sterilise all the cats at my estate. After seeing so many young cats died here, it really pain me whenever I see another pregnant cats. The life of newborns are so uncertain ahead.

yep. rubber band is sterilised and ears clipped. The white marking is natural and not man-made. The worrying part is she has an tiny open wound near her eye that refuses to heal. Also, she has a bold patch at her neck with a rough red patch of skin. Her ears has alot of black discharge. I am bringing her to see a vet this Saturday. Suspecting that she has ear mites and ringworm. Not very sure about the open wound so will check on the same trip.

Just doing a little part that I can....
I wasn't into the stray cats till I move to my present flat. Somehow, few stray cats have came to my house and I slowly get to befriend with more cats in my estate. And hence learn their plight. So I am going to sterilse all of them to prevent them to breed.
I wonder where are those volunteers who captured these cats to sterilise last time?
