i am not sure what is the best brand.. but there are a few common brands that many bunny owners feed their bunnies...
for me, i have used - hagen (the cheapest of the lot.. i think the big pack is abt $6) for my previous bunnies.. this one is rather fattening coz of the composition
- oxbow (bunny basic for bunnies below 12 months and timothy t for bunnies above a yr) for the smallest pack at $10.5
- minimal pellets (3.5 kg for $43)
me feeding dusty a mixture of oxbow timothy t and minimal pellets..

ghost>WAH! why u wanna get one year supply? Bunny food cannot keep that long leh.. also depends, cos it depends what breed of bunnies, how heavy they are then u decide how much to feed. so one year supple for ND definitely not enough for Local bunny..local bunnies eat more. Oxbow is a reputable brand la.. alfafa basic 15/23 for bunnies below 6 months n Basic T(timothy) for above 6 months(around $21.90 for biggest pack-10lbs,can last pretty long) Hagen is super cheap....$6 a pack.some pple think unhealthy cos VERY high in Protein n low n low in fibre.bu got a lot of breeders feeding their bunnies a mix of Hagen n Oxbow(breeding bunnies need more protein) Burgess Supa Excell..im feeding this...retail price is around $18 for the Junior n Dwarf rabbits one.. the one ofr mature rabbits is cheaper. They like this a lot so i feed them this loh.. they happy, mummy happy mah! minimal i nver tried before..worried there are chemicals one thing about bunnies is that unlike hamsters, shouldnt feed them mix food... unhealthy

ghost > actually very difficult to tell how much it'll cost for 1 yr supply 'cause some ppl feed more some feed lesser. moreover we seldom keep track 1 leh, at least not for me.

Besides pellets, we also feed unlimited hay and a mixture of 3-5 types of veggies everyday.
So if you want to know how much a bunny eat in a year, it is a bit difficult to calculate lor.

No. Not to give them cooked veggies. Lots of nutrients are lost during cooking process. Bunnies have different taste bud from humans. Their digestive systems are different from us too. So don't worry about the raw taste of veggies. They are crunchy and juicy to them.

As 4 Me , Oxbow bunny basic-$10 Minimal-$6.50 . Pet's creations Dehydrated carrot slices $5 pineapples $6.50 . Minimal carrot biscuits $4 . Hobo milk n honey drop . ( treats ) $5+ APD timothy n alfafa . $$18-20 . So far she hated the oxbow n Burgess , even if i starve her 4 a whole day ! she olso rarely eat . As 4 raw carrots , she can't really stomach it , so i gave her dehydrated 1 instead $5 a pk ( 50g ) n i usually grab all that's available . Treats , on n off but gave her lots of veggie instead . But nev. a yr supply of pellets ...... oni monthly supply .

ever wonder can feed bunnies cooked vegetables? cuz the idea of them eating it raw creeps me. other than carrots, they dont find it bitter eating it raw meh? no need to cook la...they like it raw.cooked veggies to them will taste mushy n void of taste i think...one thing to remember is that rabbits' digestive system n their way of thinking in regards to food is VERY different from humans..so dun see it in terms of ur preferences lo oh btw..rabbits dun taste bitterness as much as we do but they do love the sweet stuff...jsu that their digestive systems are not as strong as ours so tho they woild love it,dun give them too much... stuff like carrots (high sugar content) and cookies( i think shouldnt give at all)

i think bubbles meant cookies in the form of treats yah? izzit? veg shld be given if the bunnies is more than 6 months if i am not wrong, or else their digestive system cannot take it.. dusty is a lil weird! he hates carrots!! but he loves leafy veg like cai xin and xian bai cai... the first time i gave him carrots, he smell smell and run away!!
